A Little HOTEL History....

Designed by J.T. Rochead, the architect behind the Wallace Monument, this Venetian-style terrace was hailed as "the finest range of buildings in Great Britain" upon its completion in 1858.

The Grosvenor Hotel opened its doors in 1938, just in time for the Empire Exhibition, and has since grown to occupy Nos. 1–9 of the terrace. Over the decades, it has stood witness to Glasgow’s rich history, becoming a beloved West End landmark.

While you’re here, take a moment to admire the original artwork in our reception by local artist Libby Walker, capturing the Grosvenor’s legacy in her unique style.

Give your loved ones an exciting experience they won’t forget. A range of gift vouchers for our hotel, beGIN gin bar and BoVine Meats & Wine are available.

Glasgow's West End is a vibrant hub renowned for its rich history, cultural diversity, and lively ambiance, with the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel at its core.
